Portfolio: Virtual World Design
Years as an archaeological illustrator, dealing in the reconstruction of artefacts, sites and buildings that no longer exist, on very advanced 3D software gave me an appreciation of what can be created in a virtual environment.
It was only natural to bring this back to design and restoration as this involves huge amounts of research with regards to the technical techniques of building, using textures and fabrics that compliment a period property. This can also give a depth to a contemporary design.
Virtual Worlds has helped with this by creating a user friendly software that can absorb any textures and fabrics in a less time consuming way that is still informative to the client and also introduces renders and animation that even the most inexperienced first time user can learn with ease and comfort.
